Aries: Four of Mirrors
This month is all about choices and those choices and decisions you may be putting off whilst, perhaps, you wait for something better to come along.
The mirrors in this card stand for the suit of cups and from the pattern they are displaying in the water also show that your thoughts, decisions, choices may be changing like the tide… one day you are high on an idea and the next day you are low and no longer want to go along with that idea.
I don’t blame you… from the looks of things where you are sitting it looks pretty comfortable and calming.
There are no intense emotions and everything is running along quite smoothly. You feel at “one” with your environment and see no use in fighting against the current in making changes to your situation. Change is coming though, whether you want it or not.
The sea turtle which is about to brush against your tail is a symbol of you being given a slight nudge in making changes.
You can go back to your dream world, keeping your eyes shut and focused on pleasant thoughts and sensations — or you can face what’s coming head on.
Taurus: Golden Sunflower
This is a time of new growth, new ideas and realizations. In the midst of your new found ideals you feel a great deal of love and compassion and a bursting with sharing this with others.
The sunflower in the middle of the card shows that the growth you are on the verge of or already experiencing is sudden. The six butterflies surrounding the sunflower suggest a time of transformation whilst the fish point to eternal knowledge.
It is the two urns that you need to think about. They are closed. If you were to take off the lid to one or both of the urns what would you find inside? It is what you find in the urn that is the answer to your question on how you can speed up your own growth and/or get a new venture off the ground and running as smoothly as possibly without putting too much effort into it.
Check out the butterflies and choose one that you feel drawn to then do a search on the net to see what that coloured butterfly means. This will set you on the path of finding your own way.
Perhaps it is not the generally accepted way of finding your answers but the inner growth you are experiencing right now knows no bounds and therefor you should treat it differently to what has come before.
Gemini: Maât
Opportunities are coming your way… all you have to do is reach out and grab them!
Look at all the wonderful Egyptian blue on this card helping you communicate what you want with the Universe and the brown/gold hues of the wings keeping your grounded enough to take the necessary action in reaching your goal.
Events, people and situation around you are going to fall at your feet and make way for you to get what you want. I’m not saying you will push your thoughts and attitudes onto others this card is more about you being in tune with yourself and what is around you and being able to manifest into reality that which you wish for.
Look at the butterfly, bird, sphynx and lotus all aligned on the right hand side of the card. These are symbols of transformation, communication, strength and change.
This is what you need to keep in mind when you are finding yourself in the midst of new and exciting doors opening for you. Keep your eye on your goal and listen with your heart… even the bird comes towards you open to receive your communication and send it out to the Universe.
Cancer: Six of Scrolls
A time when wisdom meets hopes and dreams. The elephant in this card portrays that which is ancient and wise and the knowledge which a person like this can bestow on you.
Keep your ears open for one such as this because it seems as if they have something very wise and nurturing to give you in the form of words and knowledge.
There is almost a spiritual connotation to this card as the colour purple surrounds the elephant (giver of wisdom and knowledge). You may find that you go within yourself to draw out that which is wise and strong… that which you always knew. With this knowledge a transformation takes place within you.
Notice the woman touch the elephant’s forehead with her own. This is where the 6th chakra lays… it is the place psychic information travels in and out and relays that the knowledge and wisdom you attain does not need to be from books but is simply “known” by you.
You may even wish to think of starting a meditation class or psychic course. If these are not for you art, writing or anything creative can also give you the knowledge and wisdom you are looking for as it is already within you.
Leo: Five of Stones
Do you feel trapped in a situation that you want to walk away from but feel that something is pulling you back? From the looks of this card you may spend more time than you need to contemplating and arguing within yourself about what is the right thing to do.
Deep down you may already have realised that you are better to leave a situation and/or a person behind as they no longer have anything to add to your life and are draining you.
The circles of stones you sit within implies you are calling upon your own inner wisdom and going deep within to find the answers. Although you are not ready to emerge yet with a clear plan of action as you keep your head down and thoughts to yourself.
The berries growing on the trees outside the circle of stones, the very stones that seem to keep you trapped inside, have a certain flavour of Spring and Summer to them… a time of new growth.
Whilst the plants within your circle are all the same and are like a carpet of similar thoughts that go around and around your mind… keeping you trapped inside. Its time to stand up, use the wisdom within you and spread your wings… release yourself from your own prison and fly.
Virgo: Ace of Scrolls
This is a time of new learning and what better way to learn than by throwing out everything that has gone before and learning something completely new.
The language on the scroll implies you will be doing something you have never done before… something foreign to you. The black bird shows you that what you do learn will take you far.
If you have a plan to change something in your life ie your job then the answers to how you can best do that will open up to you. Use the keys in the bottom of the card to unravel what it is you are wishing to change and then use all your willpower to make it happen.
The sky in this card neither implies it is dawn or evening. The moon may be new or at the end of its 28 day cycle. What you are wishing to change in your life may come about from years of accumulated knowledge you have which you launch into something new or it may be that you try something totally new to you that you have never considered before.
There is also the implication here that you leave the door open to return to your current safe life but if you do so you may be missing out on a very exciting opportunity.
Libra: Psyche
There is so much going on for you just now as you open yourself up to life and prepare to soar.
All around you are the images of growth as the grapevines spring forth from the soil and you are tempted to saviour everything in your path. Just where is that path?
Your eyes are closed yet you hold everything you need to take a leap into the unknown and prosper. In fact you will do more than prosper you will grow. Your feet rest on fertile ground ready for you to plant whatever you like and sit back in the assurance that your wishes will be granted.
I do not see any sitting back in this card though. It is an image of having everything in place that needs to be there for your next step (which will be a big one) and just taking the first step and know that everything will work out perfectly for you.
How many times in your life can you say that? I imagine not many so don’t waste this wonderful opportunity that has been offered to you.
Spread your wings and soar!
Scorpio: Five of Spirals
There seems to be a lot of anger and frustration building up inside you… and also spilling out but just who or what is it aimed at?
This is a very good question and you may find the answer lies in a situation within yourself that possibly involves others but they are not showing their true face(s).
This in turn keeps you expending valuable energy and power and at the same time this gets you nowhere.
The twelve leafed flower on the dragon’s wing implies wisdom from a vast majority of experience… why aren’t you using this now?
Rather than going off on a tangent, wasting your energy and throwing your weight around with little or no effect you would be better served with coming up with a plan, dumping those people who purport to be your friends but are not supporting you or adding to your life and getting on with what you need to do for yourself.
After all, you have such a lot of energy around you just now you could do anything… why waste the opportunity?
Sagittarius: The Moon
No man is an island however you may feel like one. Rest assure though that if you do you seem to be having a very jolly time of it.
The moon is a symbol of our intuition which can be greatly heightened by taking some time out from day to day life and spending a little “me time”.
This is a great time to get in touch with your own emotions. Notice that the water around the island is quite calm and smooth. Water stands for emotions.
There is no need to worry that your emotions will rise up and swamp you as the island is high above the sea.
As the moon smiles down upon you use the energy bestowed upon you to further heighten your own intuitive capacity.
There is no time like the present to do so.
]If you can’t get time off just now because of other commitments you can always take some time out from your day to day activities and make a quiet place within yourself…. one where your heart will soar and you will feel like jumping for joy.
Capricorn: the Companion
You may be needing to call on help from someone and if you find yourself doing so you better listen to what he has to say. Yes it is a man.
The Companion of Spirals is used to being listened to. He usually commands a post of power and uses that power to get things done.
If you need assistance and have been putting off finding out your best course of help then it may be time to pick up the phone, send an email or just think about how you can get things moving to your best advantage and sometimes that requires the help of someone else… someone who has a rich variety of life experiences and is not afraid to take action when it is required.
The bird in this card is a kookaburra. I know it may not look like that to some readers but I have a back garden alive with these birds daily.
They are canny, they are smart and they tend to look for opportunities where others do not see them.
Perhaps you need to look for what you can use and get rid of that which is not working for you. Think of who can help you and reach out to them.
Aquarius: Nine of Scrolls
All may seem as if it is the dark of night yet there is hope in this card as can be perceived by the hues of pink (love) and mauve and purple (spirituality) layered throughout the image.
Eight scrolls lay as if lost and never to be seen again. Yet it is the last scroll you hold in your hand that you may have given up on may actually pave the way for you to see your way clear.
A situation you are involved in is causing you to lose sleep whilst also giving you all sorts of nightmares about “what if’s”. If you looked more closely at what you were worrying about does it seem that it is the negative thoughts that have power over you or is the threat you feel to your emotions “real”?
You are not seeing things around you clearly as you immerse yourself in the situation as you perceive it and that may not be how others perceive things. You are surrounded in love (pink dress) and you have golden wings which are already set in a position for you to fly out and rise above what is troubling you.
Sometimes all seems darkest before the dawn and the only way is up.
Pisces: The Muse
It is time to get on top of everything you need to get done and you will have the energy to do it too!
There looks to be a delicate energy to this card but in fact there is a lot of energy going on in the background and it would be good for you to keep this in mind as you go about getting what you want with perhaps the other person not realizing what you are up to.
Sometimes there is more strength of stoically aiming for your aspirations then from pushing through other people’s barriers to get what you want. Look at the beautiful pink gown this muse is wearing… a colour both calming and of love yet over her solar plexus lays a jewel which is of a more rich colour denoting the energy that is really within her.
The deer standing to her back and peering out from her side has no shyness to its look nor does she look worried about patting it. It is running nowhere… nor is the situation you are wishing to tame.
On the surface all appears calm yet it is the strength within that gets you to where you wish to be.
