We are still in the shadow of the two eclipses in March and most of the planets are relatively close to the same places they were then so I expect more strangeness through around April 18th when Saturn and Venus in Pisces will be conjunct the north node and sextile to Uranus conjunct the fixed star, Algol, in Taurus.
To me it is kind of a breaking point and the energy feels like the scene from the movie Moonstruck, when Cher slaps Nicholas Cage and yells at him to “snap out of it”!
Mercury goes direct on April 7th at 27° Pisces, its sign of debilitation, and moves into Aries on April 16th where it will conjunct Neptune for a day or so and then immediately start moving forward away from that illusion/delusion energy on the 17th.
This will bring more clarity about “reality” and a desire for action. It gets to 14 degrees of Aries by April 30th. Mercury in Aries is sharp, quick, and likes to get on with it; no more dilly-dallying allowed.
Venus is still retrograde until April 12, which is also the day of the full Moon in Libra, a Venus-ruled sign. She stations and goes direct at 24 degrees of Pisces. This degree is within minutes of the total lunar eclipse degree on March 14th, thereby activating that energy again. She moves through the last degree of Pisces on April 30th. Pisces is her sign of exaltation, though she does get a reality check from a conjunction with Saturn, basically all month. They are friends and Saturn can keep a rein on Venus’ love of luxury and tendency to spend a lot of money and overindulge. In that respect, it is a good match and can serve one well during these uncertain and financially volatile times.
Mars clears the last 6 degrees of Cancer this month and enters the fixed fire sign of Leo on April 18th, where he will fare much better with his active masculine energy and fiery nature in a fire sign. He was last here in Leo on November 4, 2024. This adds to the energies of “snap out of it” I mentioned earlier for April 18th. Mars moves through 5 degrees, 11’ of Leo throughout the month and into the first week of May, as he clears the degrees he retrograded over and shakes off the blues and confusion of that period and begin to take effective action.
Jupiter moves from 16 degrees, 3’ of Gemini through 21 degrees 16’ of Gemini by the end of the month. He went into retrograde motion at 21 degrees of Gemini on October 9, 2024 so he will enter some new territory in the month of May. This feels supportive in the first week of April as there is a sextile aspect with the Sun in Aries and also at the end of the month when there is a sextile aspect with Mercury in Aries. Jupiter in Gemini usually has too many things going on at once and the focused energy from the Sun and Mercury will help bring clarity so he can direct his expansive positive energy towards justice and right action.
Saturn moves from 24 degrees of Pisces, very close to that March 14th eclipse energy to 27 degrees 48’ throughout the month. He is in conjunction with Venus and the north node basically all month which softens his harsh edges a bit and signals that we need to act with a higher vision more in keeping with our dharma. There is some drama associated with planets conjunct the north node so I expect there will be no lack of that this month. We need Saturn’s energy for rules and restrictions to function effectively and know right from wrong to stay on the correct path for our education and evolution.
Uranus in Taurus moves from 24 degrees, 46’ to 26 degrees, 17 minutes and meets up again for the last time in this cycle of 84 years with Algol, the fixed star in the constellation of Perseus, towards the end of the month. This star represents the severed head of Medusa and is also associated with eye problems, unexpected dramatic events, warlike postures, seismic activity and extreme weather events. I can only hope the saber-rattling doesn’t draw blood. It does make a sextile aspect with Saturn, so there may be some cautious heads in the mix that can deter negative consequences.
The biggest cosmic news is that Neptune left Pisces (for now it retrogrades back at the end of October for a brief period) and entered Aries! This hasn’t happened since 1861 as it has a 165-year orbit around the Sun. Neptune is involved with the higher realms of consciousness, mysticism, the collective culture, the arts, film, delusion, illusion, dreams, visions and certain aspects of religion or cults. Yes, it entered Aries at the start of the US’s Civil War so it is definitely associated with that time period of civil unrest, slavery, conflicts and new directions within the US. In the sign of Aries, it paves the way for new forms of thought to enter the collective. It will pair up with Saturn this year when he enters Aries the last week of May to forge ways to make the new forms a reality. They will be very close to each other through April of 2026.
Pluto moves from 3 degrees 33’ to 3 degrees 48’ of Aquarius this month and is kind of hanging out by itself and getting only a few aspects this month. Initially, a sextile from Mercury on April 20th brings in clarity and then a square from the Sun on April 23rd will bring a challenge to that clarity and then an opposition from Mars on April 26th could bring in a threatening situation. This could be a tough one as it is the 3rd in the series that started before Mars went retrograde in the fall of 2024. Use caution if out and about in the world that day and avoid dangerous or high-risk activities.
Keep breathing and focus on what you can do to make your life and other people’s lives better. Also keep moving forward as the energies begin to get smoother from the middle of May onward.

Aries — March 21-April 19: The Sun is in your sign in the solar 1st house so you will slowly start to regain some energy and momentum in your life. Your ruling planet, Mars, is finishing up his spin in Cancer, the sign of his fall as it is opposite Capricorn, the sign of his exaltation and he is still a bit weak until the 18th. He then enters the sign of Leo and he will be ready to rock and roll! Use the first 3 weeks of the month to strengthen your physical form as the trine aspect from Mars to Saturn will give you stamina to do so. Neptune is now in your sign, but you won’t feel much of that vibe until it moves further along into the sign. The best days for you this month are the 25th and 26th.
Taurus — April 20-May 20: Much like last month, you still have a plethora of planets (5!) in your solar 12th house, making you somewhat reclusive socially and very introspective. This can be a very productive time as you can sit still with yourself and explore the inner dimensions of your being. There is a trine from Saturn and Venus to transiting Mars, so you can benefit from a strength training regime this month, like Aries. The full Moon on the 12th adds to that supportive vibe. Your stellar days are the AM hours of the 1st, the new Moon on the 27th, and the 28th.
Gemini — May 21-June 21: With Mercury still in retrograde motion in Pisces until April 7th, your motivation and actions are a bit dull or distracted at present. After the 17th, you slowly but steadily get your mojo back! Use this period of apparent inactivity to do the mundane tasks you often ignore, clean the house, dust your bookshelves, and clean out your closet of things you no longer wear or that do not fit. It’s useful maintenance to do during Mercury Rx periods. The lunar vibes on the 2nd, 3rd, 29th and 30th favor you.
Cancer — June 22-July 23: With Mars in your sign and still clearing the degrees he retrograded over since early December, you are in a position to gain some perspective on how your beliefs affect your actions. Mars is in a trine relationship to Mercury/Venus/Saturn and the north node in Pisces in your solar 9th house. It is also an excellent time to take a long distance trip, a seminar or participate in a pilgrimage of sorts. Jupiter transiting your 12th house also favors some introspective activities of a spiritual nature as well. The cosmic vibes of the 4th and 5th are excellent times to begin that kind of adventure.
Leo — July 24-August 23:This is a time to be very cautious with your money and investments. Four planets and the north node in Pisces are transiting your solar 8th house of investments, legacies, insurance and end-of-life matters now. You would be wise to take some time out and explore what resources you have to work with for your future. The Sun is transiting your solar 9th house of higher knowledge, foreign cultures, philosophy and your sense of meaning. It would be beneficial to learn something new this month or take a trip. Be cautious on and around April 26th as Mars in your sign makes an opposition to Pluto. This can cause physical trouble so be aware of your surroundings. The positive lunar vibes on the 6th and 7th favor your desires.
Virgo — August 24-September 22: Mercury, your ruling planet, goes into direct motion on April 7th and will start moving away from Saturn and the north node, which can cause anxiety and a sense of futility about your actions. That will ease up after the 17th, when the little dude gets into the sign of Aries and passes by the nebulous Neptune. That combination is like being under the influence of a powerful soporific or like trying to run underwater. This will pass and you will feel a lot better in the last part of this month as your mojo returns. Jupiter is in Gemini at the top of your solar chart so things in your professional life go pretty well. There might even be an expansion or new possibilities presenting themselves there. In any event, you have the respect of your colleagues who look to you for guidance and support. The 9th and 10th are your stellar days.
Libra — September 23-October 22: With your ruling planet, Venus, very close to Saturn and the north node for the entire month, you have responsibilities to attend to and some frustrations regarding those as well. It’s the time to do what you need to and forego the luxuries until another time. It is also a time to watch out for your health, as you might be a bit depleted. The 3 planets and north node in Pisces in your solar 6th house, as well as Neptune, now in Aries, have been a bit of a drain on your energy resources as the Venus retrograde also happened in this house. Summon your inner disciplined goddess to make productive changes this month and stick to those changes. The 11th and the full Moon on the 12th are your best days.
Scorpio — October 23-November 22: With Mars moving through your solar 9th house and about to gain strength as it enters Leo on April 18th and your 10th house of profession and public image, you will start to feel motivated and powerful by month’s end. Be careful on and around April 26th as this Mars makes its third opposition to Pluto and this can cause frustration, anger and issues with tools, metal objects and fire. This is the most volatile time of the month for you, so use caution, avoid risks and sit out any confrontations that arise. It’s not worth it. The 4 planets and the north node in your solar 5th house of creativity, fun, children and romance make a nice trine to that Mars so make sure you have some fun this month as well. Great days to do that are the 13th, 14th and 15th.
Sagittarius — November 23-December 20: Jupiter is gaining momentum through its passage in Gemini and gives you some interest in gaining a partner or at least exploring what that might feel like in the future. There are some family financial matters to attend to as the 4 planets and the north node in your solar 4th house are making a trine aspect to Mars in your 8th. Don’t procrastinate, show up and do your part in sorting things out. It might also be a good time to have a talk with a therapist regarding your family of origin dynamics. Yes, it might take more than one session but hey, why not just dive in and get this web untangled and handled. The lunar vibes on the 16th and 17th favor you.
Capricorn — December 21-January 20: With Saturn very close to Venus and the north node practically all month and transiting your solar 3rd house of communication, siblings, interests and skills, this is a great time to promote yourself. They make a nice water trine with Mars transiting your 7th house of partnership, so if you are thinking about joining forces with someone of like mind in your profession, this is a great month to sort out the details of what that contract could look like. Jupiter is in your 6th house of health and service so you are in a position to attract a like-minded co-worker or employee as well. The cosmic vibes on the 18th and 19th can assist you in attracting the right person.
Aquarius — January 21-February 19: With Pluto still hanging in your solar 1st house in the 3rd degree of your sign, you may come off as being too intense for most folks, so if you can dial down the tone of your voice, it will allow people to feel more agreeable to you. You have the 3 planets and north nodes in Pisces along with Neptune, fresh into Aries in your solar 2nd house of money, assets and values, getting your undies in a bunch about expenses and cash flow. These are uncertain financial times, but don’t make something a problem that hasn’t happened yet. The lunar energy of the 21st and 22nd can help you shed light on the current situation so you can solve your problem.
Pisces — February 20-March 20: With the three planets and north node in Pisces along with Neptune fresh into Aries in your solar 1st house, there will still be a lot of confusion about “what’s next” for you. You are restless. Uranus, transiting the last 4 degrees of Taurus, will soon move into your solar 4th house of family, ancestors, real estate and home. If you are thinking of moving to a new location, you might start planning for it as Uranus hits that point this July, but retrogrades out of it in the fall and then sticks the landing in Gemini a year from now in April of 2026. You’ve got some time, but it’s best to be ahead of the curve and be ready for it when it comes to Uranian energy, as it can bring sudden changes and unusual events. Your best days are the 23rd and 24th.
