Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Apr 2, 2017 – April 8, 2017:

We start this week on Sunday with Mercury trining the North Node. This aspect is all about developing a comfortable rapport with others. It’s about generating a meeting of the minds and communing with those who are on the same page. As the North and South Nodes are always in opposition, the North Node trines Mercury at the same time it sextiles the South Node.

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Feb 12, 2017 – Feb 18, 2017:

Coming on the heels of Saturday’s Full Moon lunar eclipse, we start this week with a another lunar aspect: the Moon in Virgo — still full — and conjuncting the North Node. As Virgo is the sign associated with humility, productivity, self-improvement and service to others this Moon is great for shifting our collective focus toward these areas.

Venus in Aries — Feb 3, 2017 – Apr 2, 2017

Venus enters Aries February 3, 2016 at 15:51 UT (or  10:51 am EST). Due to an upcoming retrograde, and with respect to the features of this particular synodic cycle, it will actually remain in Aries until Jun 6th — aside from a 3-week retrograde back into Pisces in April.

Venus is said to be in detriment in Aries, as it is the sign that opposes Venus’ natural ruler, Libra. Traditional or Classical astrology places a lot more emphasis on planetary detriments as they are seen as significant in Classical practices.

There are said to be some disadvantages to having a planet in detriment, usually due to societal norms and expectations rather than any deficit in the archetype itself. But there are also a lot of wonderfully unique attributes associated with this placement as well.

If you happened to have been born with Venus in Aries, you’re probably known as someone who is exceptionally passionate and ardent when it comes to matters of the heart. You probably fall in (and out) of love quickly. You consider yourself a bit of a maverick where love and relationships are concerned. You wear your heart on your sleeve, express your feelings openly, and are not afraid of a little competition.

As we start the Chinese New Year, it’s no surprise that we’re already beginning to hear the Fire Rooster Crow! Add to the Saturday’s New Moon in Aquarius and Mars’ ingress into Aries and we can see why tensions are not only heating up, they’re coming to a boil.

Weekly Astro Forecast — Jan 22, 2017 – Jan 28, 2017

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Jan 22, 2017 – Jan 28, 2017:

This week starts on a relatively mellow note and ends with a bang, with both a New Moon (in Aquarius) and Mars moving into its own sign (Aries).

Starting on Sunday, with the Moon in Scorpio in trine to Mars in Pisces, you may feel more like staying in bed or lounging around the house in your pj’s than you will getting out somewhere and putting your mark on the world. This isn’t the most sociable placement for the Moon to begin with, but is good for intimate or one-on-one interactions.
