Weekly Astro Forecast — July 3, 2016 – July 9, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of July 3, 2016 – July 9, 2016:

This week starts on Sunday with the Sun in trine to Neptune, which can increase your sensitivity to outside influences and leave you feeling more susceptible to psychic impressions. This transit can help you end your weekend on a mellow note; so mellow in fact that you may decide to stay in and get some extra rest rather than venturing out. It’s a good time to pay attention to your dreams, meditate, get in touch with your creativity and heed your inner voice.

Weekly Astro Forecast — June 19, 2016 – June 25, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of June 19, 2016 – June 25, 2016:

We start this week with a Mars / Uranus inconjunct on Sunday, This is a recurrence of the February 5th inconjunct between these two planets, before Mars went retrograde. This aspect can manifest as tension and frustration over events that are happening too quickly and erratically that they seem to be completely outside of your control.

Venus in Cancer — June 17, 2016 — July 12, 2016

Venus enters Cancer on June 17, 2016 at 20:38 UT (3:38pm EDT). Venus in Cancer natives are known for being sensitive, affectionate and loving.

This is a very feminine archetype. Even the strongest, most independent and assertive Venus in Cancer people — both male and female — are apt to express themselves in traditionally feminine ways, nurturing, caring for and comforting others.

When it comes to relationships, they tend to mother their partners as well. They may be passive or indirect in the early stages, but this is because they have a lot of fears — mostly regarding rejection and abandonment . But once settled into serious, committed, long-term relationships, they shine at doing what they do best: being emotionally supportive and nurturing.

Venus in Cancer people are also very sentimental. They have fantastic memories and never forget a birthday or an important / meaningful anniversary. They also rarely forget a slight.

While not all of them come from happy or functional families, most of them are aware of how their childhoods and family dynamics have shaped them. This is particularly evident in their relationships.

Weekly Astro Forecast — June 12, 2016 – June 18, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of June 12, 2016 – June 18, 2016:

On Sunday, Mars trines Chiron and Venus sextiles Uranus. The Mars trine Chiron aspect is a gentle warrior aspect. It can manifest as a desire to stand up for those who are unable to stand up for themselves. it can also make it easier for us to see and acknowledge other people’s points of view. This is especially comforting, as Mars is also moving into an inconjunct with Uranus (exact next week but only one degree away right now), and this trine can soften some of that erratic Uranus energy.

Weekly Astro Forecast — June 5, 2016 – June 11, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of June 5, 2016 – June 11, 2016:

The New Moon on Sunday is part of a grand mutable cross involving six planets: the Sun, Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune. The Sun, Moon and Venus are all conjunct at 14° Gemini, opposing Saturn and squaring both Jupiter and Neptune (which are in opposition to one another).

Weekly Astro Forecast — May 29, 2016 – June 4, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of May 29, 2016 – June 4, 2016:

This week starts out on Sunday with a “bang,” starting with Mars having retrograded back into Scorpio, and Saturn and Jupiter involved in a tense square. Mars is at home in Scorpio — a sign it co-rules with Pluto — and is especially powerful there, but because it’s retrograde and at an anaretic degree, the potential for that power to be misused is strong. Hidden resentments — or long-forgotten slights — can come bubbling back up to the surface and if so, they will need to be dealt with during this time.

Venus in Gemini — May 24, 2016 — June 17, 2016

Megan Fox

Venus enters Gemini on May 24, 2016 at 10:44 UT (5:44 am EDT). Venus is the esoteric ruler of Gemini, as the catalyst through which the concept of “Love” first emerges — through connecting, interacting and most importantly communicating with others.

Venus in Gemini people are charming and flirtatious. They’re playful, light-hearted and charismatic with a natural appreciation for the give-and-take that goes hand-in-hand in any relationship. They’re insatiably curious, wanting to know everything there is to know about the people they’re interested in, and as long as there’s always something left to learn that interest doesn’t wane.

But since Gemini is a mutable sign, there’s also a tendency toward restlessness and boredom. They like to keep things moving and to not get bogged down in tedium or routine. They’re easily distracted and require a lot of mental and verbal stimulation in order to maintain their interest.

When it comes to romance, Venus in Gemini people are said to run hot and cold. They’re notorious for ardently pursuing whatever they have their hearts set on one moment and detaching from it completely the next.

Weekly Astro Forecast — May 8, 2016 – May 14, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of May 8, 2016 – May 14, 2016:

This week starts with a relatively uneventful Sunday and a jam-packed Monday, as far as transits go. First of all the Sun conjuncts Mercury in Taurus. This is a recurrence of an earlier conjunction (in Aries) when Mercury was still moving forward, but now it’s retrograde and making a second pass. The third pass — once Mercury turns direct again — will occur two months from now (on July 6th) and then will repeat this cycle in the fall.

Weekly Astro Forecast — May 1, 2016 – May 7, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of May 1, 2016 – May 7, 2016:

We start the week with a Sun / Neptune sextile — in Taurus and Pisces respectively — on Sunday. This aspect can increase your sensitivity to outside influences and leave you feeling more susceptible to psychic impressions. It can be just what you needed to start your week on a mellow note — so mellow in fact that you may decide to sleep in and lounge around the house rather than rushing to prepare for a new work week.

Venus in Taurus — April 30, 2016 – May 24, 2016

Venus in Taurus - Liv Tyler

Venus enters April 30, 2016 at 1:35 UT (April 29, 2016 at 8:36 pm EDT).  Venus is exalted in Taurus, meaning that it is in its own ruling sign, that it’s comfortable in that sign, and that it is likely to express its highest most powerful vibration there.

If you were lucky enough to have been born with this placement, you probably have a natural appreciation for the beauty and the arts, for love and romance, and for anything that stimulates the 5 senses: a breath-taking sunset for example, a soft ocean breeze, a haunting melody, fine wine, gourmet foods, exotic spices, fragrant flowers, etc. The list goes on and on.

While they do appreciate luxury, Venus in Taurus people prefer comfort over extravagance and natural over synthetic.

They’re earthy, practical and sensuous. They long for stability and consistency and will shy away from drama in relationships. They’re better at balancing head and heart than most signs, most often leaning toward sensible choices that don’t involve risk.

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of April 24, 2016 – April 30, 2016:

While things may be slowing down a bit astrologically this week, that doesn’t mean it’s going to be any less eventful. We’re still dealing with both Mars and Pluto stationary (and both slowly moving backwards — or retrograde — through their signs) and by the end of the week 5 planets in retrograde — for the first time in over 10 years.

Weekly Astro Forecast — April 17, 2016 – April 23, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of April 17, 2016 – April 23, 2016:

It’s going to be an eventful week for us all astrologically, starting with Mars turning stationary retrograde on Sunday at 12:14 UT (or 8:14am EDT). Mars turning retrograde can mark the onset of a challenging time, as the planet that represents moving full speed ahead suddenly puts its foot on the brake and then throws itself into reverse.
