Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Feb 4, 2019 – Feb 10, 2019:

As we start the Chinese New Year — with a New Moon at 15º Aquarius 45′ on (on Monday in some parts of the world and Tuesday in others) — we may be thinking about ways usher in the properties associated with the Pig, which in Chinese lore is associated with good fortune, abundance, prosperity, and luck.

This particular New Moon is placed at the exact midpoint of Saturn and Neptune, which are currently in sextile and are also each at 15º of their respective signs. This creates what is called a planetary picture, with Saturn + Neptune = Sun/Moon. It adds a layer of compassion and sensitivity that can either be expressed through benevolence and altruism (in its higher form) or self-pity  and thin-skinned defensiveness. It’s obviously going to be preferable to strive for the former, and steer clear of the latter.

Weekly Astrology Forecast — Jan 28, 2019 — Feb 3, 2019:

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Jan 28, 2019 — Feb 3, 2019:

This week we have one planet (Venus) and one asteroid (Vesta) changing signs, a planetoid (Chiron) moving through the last degree of its sign, and a handful of complex interactions involving personal and transpersonal planets.

We start the week on Monday, with a first quarter Moon in Scorpio, sextiling Saturn and trining Neptune. The Moon is debilitated in Scorpio but works very well with these aspects, especially since both Saturn and Neptune are currently placed in their own signs. These aspects can make for an increased desire for privacy and alone time. It’s good for getting in touch with your dreams, both literally and figuratively.

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Jan 21, 2019 — Jan 27, 2019:

This week we have a planet (Mercury) and an asteroid (Ceres) changing signs, a t-square involving Mercury, Uranus and the Nodes, and a Full Moon total lunar eclipse in Leo.

Starting on Monday, we’ve got Venus squaring Neptune and Mars squaring Saturn. As these are both the traditional love planets, relationship problems are likely to be impacted, with the Mars / Saturn aspect creating obstacles and the Venus / Neptune aspect can be overly idealistic or downright delusional.

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Jan 14, 2019 — Jan 20, 2019:

This week starts on Monday with a Moon / Mars conjunction in Aries and a sextile involving Mercury and Neptune. Starting with the Moon / Mars transit — especially in Aries where Mars is dignified — this aspect is all about energy, action and adventure. It’s about being on the verge of something new and exciting, knowing that the anticipation is just as exhilarating as the adventure itself.

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Jan 7, 2019 — Jan 13, 2019:

We start this week with Venus at the last degree of Scorpio, which means it’s also void of course and at a fated (anaretic) degree. To add insult to injury, Venus is in detriment in Scorpio, which opposes the sign it naturally rules (Taurus). At the time, it’s at its greatest eastern elongation: in other words at its brightest and most visible in the early morning sky.

We start the week on Monday, with both the Moon and Mars at anaretic degrees (the 29th degree of a sign) and in inconjunct aspect. The Moon is at 29 Libra (on the verge of going void of course), with Mars at 29 Pisces, as both of them prepare to change signs.

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Dec 24, 2018 – Dec 30, 2018:

Happy Holidays! We start this week on Monday with a Moon — still full — in Cancer and opposing Pluto in Capricorn. The Moon is dignified in Cancer (the sign it rules) but impacted adversely by this transit which can be inordinately suspicious or defensive. As the opposition is said to force integration, this one should see you looking at ways to find a middle ground between your deepest darkest fears and your most personal feelings and emotions.

As a result, it can manifest as a clearer understanding of the workings of your own psyche. It can bring forth the most penetrating insights with astounding accuracy and perspective. But you want to make sure those insights are worth sharing. The potential for someone to read too much between the lines and ascribe some sinister meaning to them is also strong.

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Dec 17, 2018 – Dec 23, 2018:

This week starts with a Mars / Pluto sextile on Monday. Pluto is the higher octave of Mars, and these two planets both rule (and co-rule) Scorpio and Aries — two incredibly passionate and powerful signs. Put them together in a harmonious aspect (a sextile) and you have an excellent chance to funnel their respective energies into something meaningful.

Persistence pays off with this transit, especially anything you’re passionate about or that is tied to fulfilling your deepest, most intimate desires. You may be a bit obsessive about pursuing your goals, but the sextile makes this process a bit more workable as it brings the Martian drive and determination into the mix.

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Dec 10, 2018 – Dec 16, 2018:

This week begins on Monday with a Moon / Pluto conjunction that’s besieged by Saturn and Mars. This is a pretty powerful — and potentially destructive — configuration, especially with Moon debilitated in Capricorn, the sign of its fall. It can manifest as intense conflicts, power struggles, confrontations and mind games (among many other things).

Weekly Astrology Forecast — Dec 3, 2018 – Dec 9, 2018:

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Dec 3, 2018 – Dec 9, 2018:

This week begins on Monday, with the Sun squaring Mars and Uranus squaring the North and South Nodes. The Sun / Mars transit can be defiant and combative. With the square aspect pits one planet’s energies against the other, it can manifest as heated arguments or confrontations, even though both of these planets are disposited by Jupiter (which is itself dignified by sign).

Mars is action, energy and drive — all commendable traits. But pit it against the Sun (ego, will, personal expression) and it can bring out the less savory Martian impulses, like anger, aggression and impatience. With Uranus also squaring the Nodes (also known as “at the bendings”) the potential for the parties involved to behave in erratic or unexpected ways is also strong.
