Venus in Pisces — Jan 3, 2017 – Feb 3, 2017

Venus enters Pisces on January 3, 2017. Venus is exalted in Pisces, meaning that it is an honored or revered placement. As Neptune, the modern ruler of Pisces, is the higher octave of Venus, this placement is said to be in essential dignity.

If you happened to have been born with this Venus, you’re probably sensitive, loving, empathetic and compassionate. You’re conscious of (and affected by) the suffering of others.

You like to see yourself as part of a greater gestalt and not any better (or worse) than anyone else. You believe that people are inherently good, and for this reason you can be seen as gullible or naive.

Venus in Pisces people tend to be romantic and idealistic. They’re dreamers and visionaries who see the word through rose colored glasses. They’re poets and prophets and philosophers.

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Jan 1, 2017 – Jan 7, 2017:

Happy New Year!  We start this week with a Mars / Neptune conjunction in Pisces on Sunday. This may be one of the more appropriate New Years Day’s transits, for two reasons. One, it ties in well with the stupor that many of us wake up with after a night of celebrating. And two, it emphasizes healing and forgiveness, qualities we long to embrace as we start a New Year.

Weekly Astro Forecast — Dec 25, 2016 – Dec 31, 2016

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Dec 25, 2016 – Dec 31, 2016:

This week starts with five planets all at 20° (six if you count the Moon) in their respective signs on Sunday. We have Venus at 20° Aquarius, Jupiter at 20° Libra, Saturn at 20° Sagittarius, Chiron at 20° Pisces, Uranus at 20° Aries, and for a few hour window in the middle of the day, the Moon at 20° Scorpio.

Venus in Aquarius — Dec 7, 2016 – Jan 3, 2016

Venus enters Aquarius on Dec 7, 2016 at 14:51 UT (9:51 am EST). Aquarius is the natural ruler of astrology’s 11 house — the area associated with friendships, group involvements and humanity in general.

If you were born with Venus in Aquarius, you probably consider yourself a bit of a rebel when it comes to love. You enjoy your independence and like to maintain a large circle of friends from all walks of life. You’re drawn to intelligent, independent and open-minded partners who test the boundaries of conventional mores.

You may be a bit eccentric, especially regarding matters of the heart. You see yourself as impervious to social expectations and may like to shock others with your relationship choices.

Aquarius is co-ruled by Saturn (traditional ruler) and Uranus (modern ruler). As such, there are some Venus in Aquarius individuals who are more “Saturnine” — conservative and traditional. A lot depends on the aspects Venus makes and the relative strengths of both Saturn and Uranus in the natal chart.

For the most part though, Venus in Aquarius people are more Uranian in nature. They tend to live in their heads rather than in their bodies (or their hearts) and can seem emotionally disconnected.

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Dec 4, 2016 – Dec 10, 2016:

We start this week on Sunday with a Moon in Aquarius which semi-sextiles Mercury in the early morning hours and then later in the day squares Neptune. You may encounter some very opinionated people during this time, or you may find yourself getting a little more rigid about your own progressive ideas.

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Nov 27, 2016 – Dec 3, 2016:

This week starts with all of the personal planets visible in the night sky and a beautiful crescent (Balsamic) Moon visible in the early morning hours. Sunday’s Moon in Scorpio is debilitated, but trine to Neptune — which is at home in its own sign. The Moon / Neptune trine reinforces the effects of the more reflective and visionary Balsamic Moon. It’s a time for contemplation and introspection, especially in the early morning hours.

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Nov 13, 2016 – Nov 19, 2016:

This week may be a game changer for many of us.
