Brace yourself — You may be in for a Bumpy Ride! Have you been feeling a shift in your energy levels lately? Find yourself focusing on what you want to achieve and analyzing the steps you need to take you to your goal?

However, as the month progresses and Venus travels her path through your area of friendship and then spirituality you may find you are pulled back into your love life whether you like it or not. There is a pivotal point this month around January 22 when Mercury and Mars form a great aspect to really have your seen and heard at your workplace. Any plans you are thinking of to change your career direction are best left to this time. Do not wait till after January 24 when Mars turns retrograde and may scupper any ideas you have to move forward. Jupiter is in your area of security and stability for the next few months and this is a time when you can lay down plans to see you through times of upheaval with finances.

Thanksgiving Solar Eclipse: Nov 25, 2011

They say that a “change is as good as holiday” and it may be wise to meditate on these words this Thanksgiving given that there is an eclipse on the new moon in Sagittarius. Sagittarius is usually a sign known for its humor and ability to have fun, however, an eclipse is usually anything other than a lot of fun!

Whilst it is true it will affect some of your more than others you can never be sure it will not affect you directly… or indirectly through others. For example, you may not have many planets which are affected but your partner may and therefore you will be affected as their own issues hit off and you are then left dealing with what you are going to do next. Sound familiar?

Mercury Retrograde Nov-Dec 2011

There’s a kind of hush…. well I wouldn’t bet on it! Mercury is retrograde in Sagittarius from November 24 to December 14 which means anything but peace and quiet and if you were thinking you can just ride this period out then think again.

Sagittarius is all about the bigger picture, grand plan, larger than life experiences and with Mercury retrograde in this sign you can be sure that if anything does go wrong it may do so in a big way!

If you are the quiet, patient type you may be a bit surprised to find yourself just blurting something out of the blue which leaves others aghast and yourself wondering where those words came from.

Interpreting a Chart with No Known Birth Time

What happens when an astrologer is given birth info for a client who does not know his or her exact birth time? Can an astrologer still interpret the natal chart? And what about relationship compatibility? Can the same be done with an unknown birth time for a love interest or relationship partner?

This week Chrisalis responds to a client with this exact dilemma; and yes there is much that can be interpreted, even without the exact time of birth:

Hello Chrisalis:

I’m curious about how all the planets line up for me. I know I’m a Capricorn but that’s about all I know. I wonder what you can tell me about where the planets were at the time of my birth and how that applies to me specifically. I don’t know my birth-time, and I’m also curious about my relationship with a man that I’ve been seeing. We had some bumps in the road and would like to know what to expect in the coming months. You may have found October a bit hard going with things just that little bit out of your reach, however, November has a totally different feel to it for you. Mercury and Venus will move into your area of freedom and adventure from November 3 and this spells a lot of fun for you. Mars is in your area of work from November 12 when you will have a lot more energy to put into your career. Those of you born earlier in Aries may need to watch for a bit of a bumpy ride in the last week of the month when Venus enters Capricorn but for the most part this is a month where you can let your hair down and act as if life is meant for living and you mean to live it to the full.
