February begins with Venus in direct motion, yay! And Mercury direct soon to follow on the 4th, another blessing! However, both are paired with malefic planets. Venus loosely conjuncts Mars and Mercury much more tightly conjuncts Pluto, and they’re all transiting the Saturn-ruled sign of Capricorn. That’s a whole lot of heavy energy coming at us throughout this week.
Venus with Mars elicits sexual and general tension between the sexes and Mercury with Pluto connotes some kind of secret is revealed and it’s one that can’t be brushed off as a minor infraction. It’s an “ignore at your own peril” kind of situation. Venus and Mars will be close together in the signs of Capricorn and Aquarius until the end of March, so there’s a process of learning to manage this tension and find a way to work it out in terms of close relationships. It is both practical and down to earth as well as intellectual.
All the planets are currently within 125 degrees of each other and captured between the nodes’ positions of late Taurus and late Scorpio. Most of them are in the signs of Capricorn, Aquarius and two fortunately in Pisces. Yikes, that sure is a cluster of somethin’! The point is to pay attention to what news, information or intuition is coming at you and look closer at the content for relevance to your life. Sometimes big decisions have to be thoroughly explored and then made and so your life goes in one direction or another.

Aries — March 21-April 19: With Mars and Venus at the top of your solar chart there are practical matters to be decided regarding your career and professional stature. There are people in your professional sphere who can give you good advice, so listen to them. Your energy is strong this month so you can accomplish many things. Taurus — April 20-May 20: That four planet stellium in Capricorn occupies your solar 9th house of beliefs, foreign countries, philosophy, religion and higher education. You might undergo so changes to your sense of how things work here on planet earth. As long as you realize and practice that you can create your own heaven on earth, just do that and you’ll be fine. Your best days are the 7th and 8th.
Gemini — May 21-June 21: Mercury will be traveling with Pluto during the first two weeks of the month so the intensity of some situation is likely to be pretty high during this time. The rest of the month will teach you more lessons as Mercury joins Saturn and the heavy reality of things sets in. And this drama is happening in your solar 8th house of loss of control, end of life matters, sex, death and taxes. What can I say, there is a lot to unpack for you this month so face the facts and do your best to unravel your hidden motivations. Best days to take some time off are the 9th, 10th and 11th.
Cancer — June 22-July 23: Your solar 7th house is being impacted with the four planet situation in Capricorn therefore matters regarding business, partnerships, and legal commitments are in the forefront of your mind. Mercury goes direct on the 4th so after that time you are free to sign documents or make major purchases. Don’t fret about any of it, just go slowly and take things step by step. The lunar vibes favor you on the 12th and 13th.
Leo — July 24-August 23: Matters regarding your health, routines, working environment and service are the governing concerns for you this month. Something needs to be addressed that is not in line with your long term health goals, so a new routine has to be put in place and you move forward from there. If you are married, your spouse may be going through some challenges as well. Regardless of what comes up for you, be kind and generous with your time and attention. Best days for you are the 14th, 15th and full Moon on the 16th.
Virgo — August 24-September 22: The four planet stellium in Capricorn is transiting your solar 5th house of fun, creativity, vacations, love affairs and things we love to do in general. Too bad it’s in staid Capricorn as Saturn usually dulls down the highs of any situation. However, the upside to this is that you manage to still have some fun while going through some challenges at work. You are working through some changes in routine that don’t quite click for you yet. So, keep putting in the time to work things out. The 17th and 18th are your good days.
Libra — September 23-October 22: Home, hearth and your familial roots are in focus for you as there is some drama going on that is presenting some obstacles to tranquility on the home front. The situation unfolds throughout the month but doesn’t really get rectified until April so you are really just gathering information now. Your ruling planet, Venus, is in direct motion now but unable to get much traction to help as she is caught between two malefic planets until the 2nd week of March. Hang in there and know that a solution will present itself when you need it to. The 19th and 20th are your stellar days.
Scorpio — October 23-November 22: With your ruling planet, Mars, about to travel with Venus this entire month, there are issues regarding your relationship with the opposite sex in the forefront. This doesn’t have to be a bad thing, in fact if you can listen and remain practical yet playful you can make remarkable progress in bonding. Trust needs to be earned back slowly if there are issues from the past that need to be resolved before you can move forward. There are no shortcuts. This is a great month to do just that. Sagittarius — November 23-December 20: Matters related to money, assets, and things you value are your primary concerns this month along with being there for some family member in a helpful supportive way. It’s your turn to pick up some slack when another drops the ball, and to do it willingly without being asked. See what the situation requires and do your best to provide it. Your cheerful and generous personality will be truly appreciated. Best days to be magnanimous are the PM hours of the 23rd, the 24th and the daylight hours of the 25th.
Capricorn — December 21-January 20: Four planets transiting your sign this month signify that the direction or decisions you make now will have a major impact on the next part of your life. There is an impact on you financially, too, as Saturn is in your solar 2nd house, causing a slowdown or re-evaluation of what is coming in and what is going out, money wise. Sometimes we just need to be cautious and thrifty and this is one of those times. Days to be cut yourself some slack are the 26th and 27th.
Aquarius — January 21-February 19: There’s a lot going on with you this month with the Sun, Saturn and soon to be Mercury in your sign. It’s a great month for some long term financial planning as well as having a few escapist, fun adventures too. You are aware of your own aging process pretty acutely this month so take some time to commit to good self-care practices, and that includes rest and relaxation. The 1st, AM hours of the 2nd and the 28th are your best days.
Pisces — February 20-March 20: Jupiter transiting in your first house gives you an optimistic and open nature, welcoming in any new people, situations and opportunities that present themselves. Saturn in your 12th house, on the other hand, is making you tired and wanting to stay in your fuzzy slippers and bathrobe most days. So, you’ll be doing both, on alternating days perhaps? There’s no getting around the polar opposite natures of what is going on with you this month and for the following 3 months. Best days to get out and explore are the PM hours of the 2nd, the 3rd, and the AM hours of the 4th.
