We begin the month with Pluto beginning his retrograde cycle at 0º Aquarius 22’ and continues the retrograde through October 10th.
Yes, the lord of transformation will slide back into Capricorn going back to 27º 58’ during this cycle so we are not yet complete on our Capricorn issues.
Pluto is very powerful right now so make use of the intensity of these energies, particularly if you have any planets at 0 degrees of the air signs, Aquarius, Gemini and Libra. People with planets around 0 degrees of Taurus,
Leo and Scorpio may find this time challenging but that can also have its rewards as you learn to persist with your goals and overcome obstacles.
The intensity continues on May 5th when we have a Full Moon lunar eclipse at 15 degrees of Scorpio. This day is also Buddha Purnima which celebrates the birth of Buddha and his enlightenment. According to legend he comes back on this day every year to join with other enlightened ones to regenerate the earth. Sounds pretty good to me!
This eclipse includes the energy of Uranus as the Sun is very close to Uranus then and they both are opposing the full Moon. This vibe can translate into some kind of chaotic situation or unusual event that alters your plans. You just have to roll with what is during an eclipse. Slow down and weigh your options if you can before you making a big decision. Or you can just trust your gut in the moment.
If you have any planets at 15 degrees of the fixed signs, Aquarius, Taurus, Leo and Scorpio, the next six to twelve months may alter your life in a big way. Eclipses really shake things up if they are within 3 degrees of a planet or angle in someone’s chart.
Mercury is retrograde in Taurus through May 15 when it goes direct at 5º 51’. Now we can straighten out the snafus or messes made during the last 3 weeks. Allow yourself to assimilate the current terrain before hasty actions. Yes, I know you want to get on with it but take it slowly and you’ll have no regrets later from acting hastily.
Venus moves from 21 degrees of Gemini into the sign of Cancer on May 8th and gets to just under 25 degrees of Cancer at the end of the month. These are very easy signs for Venus to be in as Gemini is flirty and social and Cancer is nurturing and loving, both attributes of Venus. So, life will have its pleasant up side.
Mars moves from 19 degrees Cancer into Leo on May 21. There is some volatility between May 13 and May 21 as Mars gets into an opposing aspect with Pluto at 29 degrees of Capricorn. These two planets are explosive and tense together so take care if out and about in the world. At least Mars is no longer out of bounds and reason can seep into his consciousness during that edgy time. This happens close to the degree of the United States Pluto return so I would expect some drama at that time.
Jupiter moves from 26 degrees of Aries and into Taurus on May 17th. He continues to 3 degrees of Taurus by the end of the month. This is still a positive transit for Jupiter as he likes the initiating vibe of Aries and the comfort of Taurus. Take care not to imbibe too much of the Taurean pleasures or risk having to buy new pants! Yes, he does tend to increase the girth of any sign he inhabits!
Saturn remains in Pisces and moves form 5 degrees 24’ to almost 7 degrees this month. While Saturn transits can be very challenging, this part of the sky is known as the 1000 healers so depending on what house he is transiting in your chart, something of that nature something will be healed. Saturn will be transiting in this area through the rest of the year so you have plenty of time to partake of this particular gift that Saturn is bringing in. When you figure out what it is, accept it and move towards it.
Uranus is transiting from 18 degrees 25’ to 20 degrees 8’ this month. Watch your spending if you have any planets at those degrees in the fixed signs this month. There may be some shake up with financial markets or your own situation this month. But there will be benefits, too, when Jupiter enters this sign on the 17th. Change can be quite beneficial in so many ways.
Neptune makes its way from 26 degrees 43’ of Pisces to 27 degrees 25’ during the month. More big news on the water situation. Already you can read about major flooding in several areas of the US due to the massive snows and rains those areas have experienced this winter, feast or famine, it’s always somethin’.
I covered Pluto in the beginning of this forecast so no need to dwell in that realm again. I have a healthy respect for that energy but it is a bit rugged, in my opinion.

Aries — March 21-April 19: With transiting Mars in the fourth house at the bottom of your chart, your concerns may center around home, hearth, ancestors and family for most of the month. If you are making some improvements to your dwelling, you may experience some sticker shock so you may have to tap into an investment to complete the job. Be careful not to let your frustration devolve into anger around the 13th as there may be extenuating circumstances you aren’t aware of so expect some frustration to rear its head. Best days for progress are the 15th and 16th.
Taurus — April 20-May 20: The month should proceed fairly comfortably for you as Venus, your ruler, transits from the second house of assets, money and values into your third house providing some pleasant contacts with siblings, your interests and the pursuit of happiness. With three planets currently transiting your sign, you can also focus on self-improvement as well as self-promotion. Look at novel ways to do that as Uranus in your sign favors unusual approaches to further your goals. Jupiter enters Taurus on the 17th and will provide more opportunities for travel, education and expansion but just say no to that 2nd piece of cake! Your best days are the 17th 18th, and AM hours of the 19th.
Gemini — May 21-June 21: Mercury is retrograde until 5/15 in your twelfth house of karma, self-undoing and surrender. Use this time to look within, go on a short retreat or spend time alone to examine you’re the results in your life and what you want to attract in your future. Saturn in Pisces will give you feedback about the obstacles you’ll be facing, particularly in your professional life and career. Pay attention and follow the rules. While that sounds punitive, it is not but you will be evaluated along the way. Venus in your sign for the first week will grant you some favors and fun along the way so show up, do the job and stay out of the misery. Your stellar days are the PM hours of the 19th, 20th and 21st.
Cancer — June 22-July 23: Mars in your sign is energizing you this month so let yourself so take advantage of that as well as the upcoming Venus vibe when she enters your sign on the 8th. Put some pampering on your agenda for the later part of the month. Be careful between the 13th and 21st when this Mars opposes Pluto and don’t take unnecessary risks. There is a supportive vibe coming from the three planets currently in Taurus and when Jupiter enters that sign on the 17th, it indicates that support comes through friends and professional allies. The lunar vibes on the 22nd and 23rd favor your progress.
Leo — July 24-August 23: With most of the planets transiting above the horizon in your chart, there is definitely a focus on your relationship with the public, your career and professional stature. Be proactive at this time and put your absolute best stance forward. Pluto is going back into your sixth house of health but will emerge in your 7th house in 2024 where it will transit for twenty years. Definitely pay attention to feedback from trusted advisors, particularly about finances, shared assets and investments for the next 2 years. Your best days are the 24th, 25th and 26th.
Virgo — August 24-September 22: With your ruler, Mercury, in its retrograde phase until May 15th there is a slow down in the action of life for you so take some time to rest and relax. Saturn in your seventh house will also give you a bit of a respite but only if you take advantage of it. Yes, partnerships may get more serious as long-term planning takes a hold of your consciousness. Pay attention to areas of life that challenge you as that may be where things need a healing. Jupiter enters your ninth house and may offer some opportunities for long distance travel over the next year. You need this break so take it! Your stellar days are the 27th and 28th.
Libra — September 23-October 22: The stellium of three planets in Taurus in your eighth house indicates there is a focus on shared investments, insurances and money in general right now. Mercury is retrograde until May 15th so decision making in that area gets delayed until later in the month or more likely into June when Jupiter establishes itself in the sign of Taurus. In any event, Jupiter in that sign expands what it touches so in the next twelve months you’ll have financial decisions to make for long term growth. Venus enters Cancer on the 8th so family is also a priority this month. The lunar vibes favor you on the 2nd, 3rd, 29th, 30th and the AM hours of the 31st.
Scorpio — October 23-November 22: With Mars in fellow water sign of Cancer now you have an interest in giving care to others, particularly family members who are in need. Share your wisdom with them now as your presence can make a big impact. Partnerships also require a bit more TLC than normal so don’t shirk your responsibilities there. Progress in life is not always linear so lean into spending time and attention with your loved ones. Great days to do that are the 4th, the full Moon lunar eclipse on the 5th, the AM hours of the 6th and the PM hours of the 31st.
Sagittarius — November 23-December 20: With the three planets in Taurus in your sixth house of health, habits and work environment, there is some attention to be paid to those matters. Family is also a priority as Saturn is now in your fourth house of family, ancestors and real estate. When Saturn is in that house at the bottom of your chart there is a bit of obscurity in the world in general as you must attend to those matters rather that worldly concerns. There is a reward for paying attention to them after Saturn leaves that house in two years. So, accept the responsibility and do your best. Good days to have a bit of fun are the PM hours of the 6th, the 7th and 8th.
Capricorn — December 21-January 20: With Saturn, your ruling planet, in the sign of Pisces for the next two years and transiting your third house of siblings, community and personal interests you will find yourself out and about more than you have been in the last few years. There is a focus on money and bringing more in which is why you will be out there promoting yourself and services too. Look into possibly working more with younger people and children at this time as Jupiter enters your fifth house soon and that can be very expansive for you. Great days to advance your cause are the 9th and 10th.
Aquarius — January 21-February 19: There is a focus on family, ancestors, real estate and home life this month with three planets in Taurus in your fourth house. Jupiter will also enter that sign and house near the end of the month bringing with it new ideas for expansion and/or improvement. Schedule a summer reunion with the family and make a point to stay in great contact with them in the future. There are hidden benefits to this and you will also gain favor with them as well. This is a time of life to create stronger bonds with your family. Pluto retrogrades back out of your sign soon so there may be some karma that is still incomplete. Do your best to be in touch with your inner self at this time and follow that guidance. The 11th and 12th are your best days.
Pisces — February 20-March 20: Saturn is in your first house asking you to take responsible action regarding your physical self, your appearance and autonomy. This can translate into just accepting the physical aging of the body and taking steps to maintain flexibility and stamina. Saturn reminds us all that time is passing and we are all a part of it. There are three planets in your 3rd house of siblings, interests and local community so you may find yourself in greater contact with those areas of life. Venus will enter your 5th house of children, creativity and fun so the beginning of the summer holds so joy and happiness for you. Great days to take advantage of the positive vibes are the 13th and 14th.
