This month begins with a new Moon on September 2 at 11° Virgo 04′ and Uranus going stationery retrograde at 27° Taurus 15′. Both are in earth signs so there’s some natural between them but as Uranus rules unexpected events, rebellions, social consciousness, as well as earth changes and out of the blue big events, any of which can be more than a bit unsettling.
Uranus will back up over Algol — considered a very negative star in the Perseues constellation — for the 2nd time next month, and will cross it for the third and final time in May of 2025. So we still have some tumultuous times ahead, as the upheaval lasts through that time period. It will affect the fixed signs between 20 and 29 degrees the most, so if you have a planet, the ascendant or the angular house cusp within those degrees, look out, you might have some big surprises in store.
There’s a partial solar eclipse on the full Moon of September 17th, at 25° Pisces 41′ with the Moon conjunct Neptune. This has a spacey kind of energy with the Neptune vibe but the Moon is also hemmed in between the North Node and Saturn, two malefics, creating a bottle neck of energy that doesn’t express with ease, like between a rock and a hard place. With Neptune in the mix there could very well be some kind of deception going on. Just keep breathing as this will pass.
On a lighter note, Venus is in Libra, a sign she rules and is now appearing as the brilliant and beautiful evening star, visible right after sunset in the western sky. She will be moving towards an air trine with Jupiter in Gemini between September 11 through the 21st. It’s a great time for social events but be careful about overindulging in everything pleasurable! But how bad can that be?
Mars moves into the sign of Cancer in the evening of September 4th and will move through 14 degrees by the end of the month. He makes a wide square aspect to Venus in Libra for the first two weeks but then eases up the tension when she moves into the sign of Scorpio on the September 24th and they are in compatible water signs. Relationships should be easier to navigate after that occurs as common ground is established and intimacy opens up with more ease and trust.
Jupiter moves from 19° to 21° of Gemini and will have favorable aspects with the Sun, Mercury and the South Node the last week of the month. You may have some epiphanies at this time with the mind being very active but also searching for meaning with Jupiter, the Guru, making a trine aspect. It’s a great time to learn something new, make a pilgrimage trip or begin a meditation or yoga practice.
Saturn is still retrograde in Pisces, moving from 16° 34’ back to 14° 25’ and squaring Jupiter in Gemini loosely for the entire month. This means one should take things seriously, particularly if you do decide to learn something or begin a spiritual practice. Be disciplined and attentive so you retain the information you decide to pursue. Jupiter in Gemini is expansive and can be pulled in too many directions so the contracting influence of Saturn can be harnessed to slow down and assimilate one thing at a time, well, maybe two, as Gemini does represent the twins! See the job, do the job and stay out of the misery.
Neptune is retrograde in Pisces and moves from 29° 3’ to 28 ° 16’ and becomes very accessible around the time of the full Moon/Solar eclipse on September 17th as the Moon will be conjunct Neptune while having the opposition from the Sun that is the full Moon. It has a romantic, mystical vibe to it and one that can access artistry, higher consciousness thought, mystical visions or have unrealistic expectations of any event or occurrence then. Make a point to enjoy the evening of the full Moon and know that Neptune is right out there with it!
Pluto is still retrograde and has slid back into Capricorn at 29° 59’ and reaches 29 ° 40’ by month’s end. Pluto’s dark but transformative nature is digging deeper into corruption, bad behavior with the masses as well as big business and the government. It goes direct in the middle of October so there are plenty more revelations coming up when that station happens! Stay out of the muck of it and remain positive that transformation is working its way up to the light of revelation and change. The only way out is through or as Winston Churchill said, “if you are going through hell, keep going”.

Aries — March 21-April 19: Your ruling planet, Mars, makes his move into the feminine, cardinal, water sign of Cancer on the 4th and your solar 4th house so you might feel the urge to make changes in your personal home environment or maybe even move! This cycle is active through almost the end of April as Mars has a retrograde period from early December through the end of February, 2025. It is not the time to act with haste as the Mars Rx cycle may change things for you again if you react too quickly. Let your spouse or partner in on your inner dialog so there’s no sudden shock for them. There is ample time for this possibility to work out. The 18th and 19th are your stellar days.
Taurus — April 20-May 20: With Venus transiting Libra, the other sign she rules, there is some harmony and alignment you feel in spite of the edgy turmoil that Uranus, now backing up over Algol in your sign, brings in! Venus is transiting through your solar 6th house with the south node so you may have some health issues to address, more likely from overindulgence or a sedentary lifestyle. Deal with it now as you don’t want to carry extra weight or develop pre-diabetes over the long term. There will be more focus on relationships during the last week of the month when Venus goes into Scorpio but it is more likely to deepen your intimate relationship than harm it for the next month. Your most fortunate days are the 20th and 21st.
Gemini — May 21-June 21: GEMINI: With Jupiter in your sign getting a wide square from Saturn, it is a time to be serious about your education, training or get disciplined about something you are interested in. The new Moon on the 2nd occurred in your solar 4th house so there is a focus on home, family, ancestors and your family’s history or past. Ask questions and share your recollections and feelings with family members for clarity about what is coming up for you. Jupiter is in your first house so that usually brings some kind of expansion and good will from others so it is unlikely you will offend anyone. So, make use of those good vibes, particularly on the 22nd and 23rd, which are days when things work out in your favor.
Cancer — June 22-July 23: Mars goes into your solar 1st house bringing you some additional drive, energy and passion. Cancer is a caregiving sign so you may have some family obligations that will cause some tension in your home life for a short time. Things get better during the last week of the month as you learn to manage your time and energy better. Jupiter is transiting your solar 12th house so you do need to schedule some solitary time. Maybe you can attend a retreat or just a few days by a body of water to sooth yourself. Selfcare is as important as caring for others. The 24th, 25th and AM hours of the 26th are great days to get away and do just that!
Leo — July 24-August 23: With the new Moon and the partial Solar eclipse happening in your 2nd and 8th houses, there are financial matters that need your attention. It might be involved with estate planning or changing an investment strategy so do pay attention and get some advice from an expert if necessary. Pluto has retrograded back into your solar 6th house of health, habits, small pets, employees and work environment so there is some remaining issue to be dealt with around those areas of life. Jupiter is transiting your solar 11th house of friends, aspirations and business income and associations so take some time to cultivate new friends and connections in those areas of life. Your days of power are the 1st, the last 6 hours of the 26th, the 27th and 28th.
Virgo — August 24-September 22: With Mercury now direct and clearing the degrees he retrograded over by September 12th, you will have resolved most of the outstanding issues that arose in August. Jupiter is up at the top of your chart in your 10th house of profession and public image so that helps you maintain and even increase your influence and client base through June of 2025. This is a positive transit but it still means there is work to be done because of that pesky square from Saturn in your 7th house. In any event, this transit will help you take your career to the next level. The days of the 2nd, 3rd, 29th and 30th are your stellar days.
Libra — September 23-October 22: Venus is in your sign through September 24th so your influence is greater as is your presence in the world at large. This is a great time for self-promotion or a new product launch. There may be a small setback around the 5th or 6th but it is just temporary. Keep your eye on the prize and be friendly, charming and generous with your time and attention, which is generally easy for a Libra to do! Mars is at the top of your chart and will bring in more public attention as it will remain there through April of 2025 as he has a retrograde period from December through the end of February. Adjustments to your plan will happen during that time frame. Not to worry, things will settle more into their final incarnation in the spring of 2025. Excellent days for you are the 4th, 5th and 6th.
Scorpio — October 23-November 22: Mars is entering your solar 9th house of higher education, the law, foreign travels and publishing and has a retrograde period beginning in early December through February 25, 2025. It clears those Rx degrees in early May so your plans may not solidly materialize until the Spring of 2025. Still, there is much to do and plan for during this time. The new Moon and the full Moon partial eclipse happen in your 5th and 11th houses, which are favorable places to have something creative open up for you. Make sure you are enjoying the process of what you are doing this fall and spring and include some social networking along the way. The 7th,8th and AM hours of the 9th are your lucky days this month.
Sagittarius — November 23-December 20: The ruler of your sign, Jupiter, is transiting Gemini, the sign opposite to your place in the zodiac. Jupiter is still optimistic, generous and fun-loving, possibly even more so in the sign of the twins but a bit more scattered in how he dispenses wisdom and knowledge. The square aspect from Saturn happening the rest of the month will actually be helpful for this placement as its contracting energies allow for discipline and depth to be developed. Jupiter is in your 7th house of committed partnership and brings in opportunities to grow, expand and settle into that commitment to another person. Saturn is in your solar 4th house which could mean you have a family obligation to fulfill. Saturn in this placement can also be your point of maximum obscurity as this responsibility keeps you more tethered to your home base for the next few months. Capricorn — December 21-January 20: The ruler of your sign, Saturn, is retrograde in Pisces in your solar 3rd house of communication, short trips and siblings which may bring in more contact with family members or travel to visit them. It is also making a square to Jupiter in the 6th house so some discipline is required regarding your health, diet, exercise or work ethic. It is a great time to target your message to a specific group for your business growth. You’ll be working out those details through the end of the year so don’t give up if the take off is slow. That’s how a Saturn square to Jupiter works, slow and steady wins the race. Mars enters your 7th house and can bring out some testy behaviors or irritation with the spouse but that will improve by the end of the month. Aquarius — January 21-February 19: With Saturn retrograde in your 2nd house of money, assets, and income stream there may be a bit of a slowdown happening and you feel frustrated that you can’t do all the things you want in regards to creativity, fun and frivolous activities or travel. Look for other ways to fulfill those desires that don’t require spending money. With the partial eclipse on the 17th also happening in the 2nd and 8th houses, it might be wise to look at your retirement plans and investments with a professional. If that thought brings up fear, it is wise to take a deeper look at your feelings of fear about the end of life. Set all that aside on the 14th and 15th as those days offer opportunities to have things go your way, so enjoy those positive lunar vibes.
Pisces — February 20-March 20: Transiting Saturn is retrograde in your first house now and the September new Moon and the partial Solar eclipse on the 17th happens in your 1st and 7th houses. So, there may be some distance between your and your partner right now that needs to be worked out in the following months. With Jupiter, your ruling planet, in the solar 4th house you have a desire to be close to your family but possibly you have an obligation to fulfill that prevents as much contact as you desire. It is a temporary phase that will change over the course of the fall. It is also possible that you and your partner start discussing a move to a new location. When Uranus enters Gemini briefly in the late summer of 2025 and then more solidly in the summer of 2026, it is a likely time for that to happen. Let the positive vibes of the 16th and full Moon on the 17th usher in a new vision for your future.
