June 2014 Tarot Scopes featuring the Hezicos Tarot

Hezicos Tarot -- Judgment

Aries:  Judgement

What decisions have you been needing to make and perhaps been putting off for a while.

You seem to be very clear in what you are thinking but perhaps the outcome you are hoping to achieve seems out of your reach as different aspects of it come to mind and your clear thinking is not correlating with the clear actions you need to take to reach your goal.

This is such a beautiful card… it is a card to get “lost” in whilst you take a step back in order to clarify what you really want to do.

Your mind looks so busy covered in a red hood, the creatures of the sea, both mythical and not, dance around you almost daring you to take your eye of your goal and come and play with them for a while.

Perhaps this is what you really need… to take yourself out of such serious contemplation of decision making and throw yourself into a little bit of fun and playfulness for a while. By doing so you may distract yourself to the point that the answers come more clearly to you.

Free Daily Tarotscope — Mar 24, 2014 — Eight of Pentacles

Eight of Pentacles

Eight of Pentacles

Today is a good day to throw yourself into your own personal labor of love.

This isn’t about punching a clock somewhere and wishing the day was over so you could get back to whatever it is you really enjoy. It’s about finding that thing you truly want to do and figuring out a way to turn it into a livelihood.

The Eight of Pentacles is first and foremost a craftsmanship card. It refers to honing and refining your craft in a way that only you can. What better representation of this is there than a spider spinning a web?

There is perfection in the imperfection, as seen in the elegant gossamer strands that interconnect with one another to create a masterpiece.

The “pentacles” in this rendition are eight shimmering stars woven into this spider’s web. The morning light reflects off of them —  a testament to this spider’s early start. She wouldn’t rise so early to do something she didn’t want to do, and ideally neither would you.

The Eight of Pentacles can refer to an all-work / no-play mentality. But this is all relative, as the hours that you’re putting in will likely not feel like “work” at all. Not if you truly love what you do. This is about being fully engrossed in what you’re learning, creating or developing.

February 2014 Tarot Scopes featuring the Paulina Tarot

February tarotscopes

ARIES: Five of Pentacles

You may start the month going through a bit of a rough patch. The Five of Pentacles is all about questioning your own values — whether that means mentally, physically, spiritually, and financially.

As Pentacles relate to physical, material and tangible concerns, you may be struggling with money and material possessions. But this is also ties into your own sense of self-worth.

You may be asking yourself “What do I have to offer and what is it worth to others?” There’s a sense of loneliness and feelings of inadequacy associated with this card.

But if you look at the images in this version, you see not one person but two. And they seem to be holding each other up — supporting one another.

This is the message behind the Five of Pentacles: it may be cold outside and you may have suffered a recent set-back or a blow to your self-esteem. But all you have to do is look around you — and be willing to reach out for help.

We can’t any of us make it through this world alone. This card is all about reminding ourselves that there is help if we are willing to ask for it, and in doing so will usually come out stronger in the end.

May 2013 Tarot Scopes featuring the Mary-El Tarot

ARIES: 7 of Disks

This month your values are likely to be tested.

You may be presented with several different opportunities — none of which are ideal, and most of which require you to make sacrifices you’re not prepared to make.

A “get rich quick” scheme or opportunity that seems too good to be true are just two examples.

If you look at the imagery in this card, you can see that both paths lead to the same point on the horizon.

One requires you to carry a heavier load, but the riches at the end are more plentiful. The other path is lighter, but leads to a less bountiful outcome.

You’ll have to keep your eye on the prize — and remember that all that glitters is not gold — if you want to navigate this next chapter toward the best possible conclusion.

Don’t be tempted by detours or shortcuts: the end result depends on both your willingness to stay on track and your refusal to compromise your principles.

February 2013 Tarot Scopes featuring the Golden Tarot

ARIES: The World

This month you may see the long awaited completion of a project you have been involved in or a part of your life you have been wanting to bring together in the best possible way.

This image on this card comes from German painter Hans Memling famous for many great works of art, including this painting of Saint Urslula of the Holy Virgins.

In this painting, Saint Ursula stands shielding her handmaidens against certain death.

The four corners of the card show the images of the four fixed astrological signs: Aquarius, Scorpio, Taurus and Leo.

They’re also said to represent the four Evangelists: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

This card is about using all of your gifts to reach out and accomplish your goals.

As the last card of the Major Arcana, it symbolizes completion.

January 2013 Tarot Scopes featuring the Thoth Tarot

ARIES: Art

You’ll have the opportunity to re-invent yourself this month and to achieve equilibrium in your relationships.

You can turn something negative into something positive by striving for balance, harmony and composure.

This is a powerful card. It relates to the alchemical process of turning lead into gold. You can activate this concept personally by embracing that which has been resisted or denied and working to transform it.

This card is called “Art” (Temperance, in some decks). It speaks of seeking out symmetry.

It speaks of finding a middle-ground. In what areas of your life are you too inflexible, too rigid and too unwilling to hear another’s point of view?

Your challenge will be to overcome those impediments and to integrate the opposing forces in your life.
