Weekly Astrology Forecast — Feb 22 2021 – Feb 28, 2021

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Forecast for the week of Feb 22, 2021 – Feb 28, 2021:

We start this week on Monday with Venus semi-sextiling Pluto. This transit is passionate, sensuous and seductive, especially with respect to personal relationships. It brings with it the urge to merge and to form deep, meaningful connections.

The purpose of a Venus / Pluto transit is to act as a catalyst for transformation. And as semi-sextiles act as instruments of transition from one sign archetype to the next, this one can see you striving to gain a clearer understanding of your own priorities.

Weekly Astrology Forecast — Feb 15, 2021 – Feb 21, 2021

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Forecast for the week of Feb 15, 2021 – Feb 21, 2021:

We start the week on Monday with Venus trining the North Node (and thus automatically sextiling the South Node). This aspect can bring new people into your life who feel familiar and who can be instrumental to your evolutionary process.

This aspect is karmic in nature, meaning that the people you meet during this time are here to propel you toward your destiny — and vice versa. Your actions and interactions can have far reaching repercussions so make sure you treat the people you meet during this time (and all times) with dignity and respect.

Weekly Astrology Forecast — Feb 8, 2021 – Feb 14, 2021

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Forecast for the week of Feb 8, 2021 – Feb 14, 2021:

This week begins on Monday with a retrograde Mercury conjuncting the Sun. This is an inferior conjunction, meaning that it’s passing between the Earth and the Sun. It’s also “combust,” or so close to the Sun that it’s obscured by the Sun’s rays. The exact conjunction  is referred to by classical astrologers as “cazimi,” which means in the heart of the Sun.

This is a powerful condition, with the cazimi planet’s influence generally seen as heightened and energized by the Sun. But because Mercury’s retrograde and is essentially “hidden” by the Sun, this aspect can be somewhat problematic. The main thing to watch for is information that is hidden or lacking, which can result in making ill-informed decisions, especially given Mercury’s retrograde status.

February 2021 Monthly Horoscopes by Jeanne

Oh, the joys of starting a new month with a Mercury retrograde!

My keyboard and mouse are not communicating with my computer today and I am not feeling like going through the troubleshooting protocol to try to patch it.

Tomorrow is another day, to paraphrase Scarlet O’Hara but it has made me late with this column and I apologize for the delay.

Mercury will be Rx until February 21st when the little dude goes direct at 11 degrees of Aquarius.

During this retrograde cycle, he will be conjunct Venus on February 14th and also Jupiter around the same time and so will be influencing the houses those two planets rule in your chart as well as the two houses Mercury rules.

That makes 6 houses that will be affected so it is, indeed, a month to double check things twice. At least the planets involved are not malefic ones!

Weekly Astrology Forecast — Feb 1, 2021 – Feb 7, 2021

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Forecast for the week of Feb 1, 2021 – Feb 7, 2021:

This week begins on Monday with Venus moving into Aquarius and in mutual reception with Uranus. Venus in Aquarius is independent and open-minded. It’s a friendly, sociable placement with a penchant for quirkiness and eccentricity. It’s self-reliant and autonomous, with progressive social values and an interest in humanitarian ideals.

This transit is good for exploring your views on relationships and what makes them unique. It’s good for throwing out preconceived notions, and being more tolerant of the many different relationship styles. It’s also excellent for expressing your own individuality and acknowledging the same in others.

Weekly Astrology Forecast — Jan 25, 2021 – Jan 31, 2021

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Forecast for the week of Jan 25, 2021 – Jan 31, 2021:

This week starts with a 60° aspect (sextile) between the Sun and Chiron on Monday. This transit can lead us to a better understanding of what others are going through at any given time. Especially the more agonizing emotional experiences that are still unresolved. It open us up to vulnerabilities we might ordinarily dismiss or overlook. It can bring reminders of our own traumatic experiences to the forefront, and help us to identify the same in others.

This transit is made all the more relevant in that it’s positioned in action-oriented signs. With Sun in Aquarius — the sign that’s associated with embracing the quirks and idiosyncrasies in others — and Chiron in Aries — the sign associated with courage and conviction — this aspect act as a catalyst for change, by breaking through whatever obstacles are standing in your way.

Weekly Astrology Forecast — Jan 18, 2021 – Jan 24, 2021

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Forecast for the week of Jan 18, 2021 – Jan 24, 2021:

We start this week on Monday, with the Moon — still New — in Pisces, sextiling the Sun and Pluto. These are both relatively mellow transits, with the Pisces Moon bringing empathy, intuition and empathy to the table, with the Sun and Pluto adding elements of will-power and self-control.

The Moon in Pisces is loving, compassionate, and highly impressionable. It can increase psychic awareness and make you more susceptible to outside influences. It’s mystical and ethereal, but can also be incredibly naïve. It’s not good at filtering out negative or harmful information, and can therefore be easily deceived. This is the most sensitive and idealistic Moon there is. So try to put yourself in other people’s shoes and show some compassion during these trying times.

Weekly Astrology Forecast — Jan 11, 2021 – Jan 17, 2021

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Forecast for the week of Jan 11, 2021 – Jan 17, 2021:

We start this week on Monday, with Mercury conjuncting Jupiter and both of them sextiling Chiron. With respect to the Mercury / Jupiter conjunction, we have two natural polarities — the natural rulers of the 3rd and 9th houses — joined together in harmony. We have Mercury — the planet associated with communications and ideas — conjuncting Jupiter — the planet associated with benevolence, good will and generosity.

The sextile to Chiron brings elements like compassion, humility and tolerance to the table, making it a little easier to understand someone else’s point of view. Among many other things, this transit is good for opening your heart to those you love and expressing appreciation and gratitude for all that you have. It’s good for coming together with others and celebrating your allegiances while honoring and accepting your differences. It can herald a time for feeling inspired and optimistic about the future.

Weekly Astrology Forecast — Jan 4, 2021 – Jan 10, 2021

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Forecast for the week of Jan 4, 2021 – Jan 10, 2021:

This week we have three planets — Mercury, Venus and Mars — all changing signs. We’re also dealing with an out-of-bounds planet (Mercury) and a stationary planet (Uranus, which will go direct in 10 days, at the exact degree it occupies now), and by week’s end the entire body of planets encased within the North and South Nodes.

Starting on Monday, we have a Moon — still full — in Virgo, which will trine the Sun, Mercury and Pluto, square Venus and oppose Neptune before the day is through. These are mostly productive and discipline transits, with emphasis on work to be done.

January 2021 Monthly Horoscopes by Jeanne

Welcome to the new year of 2021!

It feels lighter than 2020 already, just getting out of that repetitive numerical sequence feels like a relief of sorts! There will definitely be a bumpy ride for the start of the year but improvement will occur after the first quarter is completed.

This is a major course correction and those transitions are never easy to navigate but navigate we must, so set your intentions this month on the New Moon on January 12th if you haven’t already done so during the Solstice and Jupiter/Saturn conjunction on December 21, 2020.

The volatility cycle for January runs from January 1st through the 24th as Mars moves to an exact conjunction with Uranus at 6 degrees Taurus on January 20th, the date of the presidential inauguration in the United States.

Uranus is very powerful all month as it goes into direct motion on January 14th, which increases its power. The Sun also enters Aquarius on that date, ringing the bell of the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction a month earlier, that’s a positive note even though it will be squaring Uranus and Mars in a few days.

Weekly Astrology Forecast — Dec 28, 2020 – Jan 3, 2021

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Forecast for the week of Dec 28, 2020 – Jan 3, 2021:

We start this week with the Sun trining Uranus on Monday. These two planets make up what’s called a planetary pair, as rulers of opposing signs (Leo and Aquarius). Combined with yesterday’s square to Chiron, this is a tricky configuration, as it emphasizes being progressive and innovative on one hand, and struggling with identity and self-expression on the other.

Consider that the Sun is tied to your life force, will and self-expression, while Uranus is tied to thinking outside the box. These two planets in harmonious aspect represent encourage you to march to the beat of your own drum and express your own unique individuality in ways that inspire rather than shock. But the inconjunct to Chiron can manifest as a need to remedy an imbalance between the desire for self-actualization (the Sun) and the urge for self-sacrifice (Chiron).

Weekly Astrology Forecast — Dec 21, 2020 – Dec 27, 2020

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Forecast for the week of Dec 21, 2020 – Dec 27, 2020:

We start this week with the Sun moving into Capricorn on Monday. This marks the onset of Winter (the Winter Solstice) for those in the Northern Hemisphere. From an astronomical perspective, this is the time when the Sun reaches its southernmost declination and manifests as the shortest day and longest night of the year. (It’s exactly opposite for those in the Southern Hemisphere).

Astrologically it represents the Sun (ego, will, Self, etc) entering the sign of the Sea Goat, the archetype known for its ability to rise from the bottom of the deepest sea to the top of the highest mountain. As we tie up the last few days of the year, we may be all thinking “thank God this one is almost over” and making plans to do more, better and bigger next year. That’s the Sun in Capricorn.
