Here is the Ask the Astrologers Astrology Forecast for the week of Nov 1 – Nov 7, 2015:
Your Spidey Senses may be tingling on Monday, as Mercury moves into Scorpio and gets you scrutinizing everything to the infinitesimal degree. This is an excellent placement for doing research and analysis, and can also be good for delving into the deepest darkest regions of your own psyche.
What it might not be so good for is communicating with loved ones. You’ll want to get a handle on the tendency to read into everything and see problems where there are none. This placement can be guarded and / or hyper vigilant. It can also be skeptical, suspicious or paranoid. The good news is that nothing will get past you and no one is going to be able to play you for a fool. But the bad news is that this placement has so much difficulty taking anything at face value that having even a casual conversation can start to feel like walking through a land mine.
On Tuesday, Venus conjuncts Mars and Jupiter opposes Chiron. The Venus / Mars transit brings the natural relationship planets together. The planet of Love (Venus) and the planet of Sex (Mars) are united and can manifest as fireworks in the relationship department. But fireworks can mean different things. They can be exciting and beautiful (Venus) or dangerous and unpredictable (Mars). The goal should be to give more weight to Venus and focus on making love and not war.
The Jupiter / Chiron opposition can put you at odds between what you believe in and what you feel you must do in order to contribute to the greater good. It can cause you to doubt your belief systems or question their values. This aspect can also have you calling some of your more traditional values into question. The goal should be to find a middle ground — between what you’ve been taught and some of your more unorthodox leanings.
Thursday’s Jupiter / Uranus inconjunct brings the above conundrum to a head. The Uranus portion of this aspect is going to force you to look at what you believe in and decide whether it has value to you personally. You can no longer allow yourself to give lip service to something that you’re no longer aligned with spiritually or philosophically. Uranus says it’s time to question everything you’ve been taught and have held to be true.
This aspect is also going to shake up your relationships unless you and your partners or loved ones are both willing to give up control. There’s an inordinate need for freedom associated with this aspect and a potential for outright rebellion if it’s challenged.
On Friday, the Sun sextiles Pluto and Mercury trines Neptune. This pair of aspects works very well together, with the Sun / Pluto portion emphasizing personal power and charisma while the Mercury / Neptune portion is both idealistic and visionary. Together these transits complement one another, especially in the realm of personal relationships.
The Moon joins in on Friday, with a sextile to the Sun and a trine to Pluto in the early morning hours. This adds elements of sensitivity and intuition to the mix, so use this time to get in touch with your dreams, visions and spiritual aspirations.
We tie up the week with a Venus / North Node conjunction on Saturday. This aspect can bring new people into your life who feel familiar and who can be instrumental to your evolutional process. This aspect is karmic in nature, meaning that the people you meet during this time are here to propel you toward your destiny — and vice versa.
Your actions and interactions can have far reaching repercussions so make sure you treat the people you meet during this time (and all times) with dignity and respect.
