Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astrology Forecast for the week of Oct 25 – Oct 31, 2015:
The Venus / Mars / Jupiter / conjunction is still visible in the morning sky all week long. Make sure you get out there and take a look: this is the last time we’ll see this morning star configuration until 2021.
The Venus / Jupiter portion of this aspect takes center stage on Sunday with a conjunction between these two planets. Neither of these planets is particularly happy in Virgo; for Venus it’s the sign of its fall and for Jupiter it’s the sign of its detriment (shared with Gemini). But bring them together in an early morning conjunction and it can be a sight to behold.
This is an optimistic, enthusiastic and benevolent transit that can see you feeling so good about yourself that others respond in kind. Those feelings of goodwill are infectious and can result in opportunities that come to you through unexpected channels.
But Mercury is also in opposition with Uranus on Sunday (and inconjuncting Chiron). So pay attention to what you say and how you say it. You don’t want to entertain someone’s attempts to rain on your parade by allowing them to push your buttons or try to pick a fight. The Mercury / Uranus opposition can be brilliant and so radical that it opens your eyes to new ways of thinking. But it can also be opinionated and argumentative, so steer clear of those who choose to take that route.
The Full Moon on Tuesday — called the Beaver Moon — is at 3° Taurus. This is not only the sign of the Moon’s exaltation but also the exact degree. This degree is known as “Vazarite” which is a condition classified by medieval astrologers as relating to its emergence from under the Sun’s beams.
The Full Moon in Taurus shines a light on our value systems, the things that we hold near and dear, which as most of us know by now are not always “things.” This is further qualified by the Sabian Symbol for this degree, which is “The Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow.” Use this time to think about what is most meaningful for you, and what you can do to cultivate it during this time.
Venus also opposes Chiron on Tuesday and inconjuncts Uranus on Wednesday. This theme of establishing clearer boundaries and identifying your personal values reverberates throughout the week with these ongoing Venus transits.
Are you struggling with doubts and insecurities about your own self-worth? This is Venus opposite Chiron. Or are you striving to let go of associations that have held you back or prevented you from achieving personal fulfillment? This is Venus inconjunct Uranus.
Venus may be debilitated in Virgo, but it’s also in mutual reception with Mercury and involved in aspects to four other planets this week. It’s also the ruler of that exalted Taurus Full Moon. For this reason the concepts of love, romance, beauty, interacting with others and personal value systems will all be prominent.
On Friday, the Sun trines Neptune, which can increase your sensitivity to outside influences and leave you feeling more susceptible to psychic impressions. This transit can help you wind down your work week on a mellow note; so mellow in fact that you may decide to stay in for the weekend rather than venturing out. It’s a good time to pay attention to your dreams, meditate, get in touch with your creativity and heed your inner voice.
That’s it for this week, see you next Sunday!
